Mt. Brilliant polo is also proud to sponsor Polo in the Park, a series of tournaments held at the Kentucky Horse Park during the month of July. Polo in the Park has lured teams from Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, Kentucky, Hawaii, and Texas as well as players from Argentina, Australia, Mexico, South Africa and England. Dates for Polo in the Park tournament are as follows:
Last year Polo in the Park hosted a 20 goal match USA vs. South Africa Argentine BBQ to benefit the Fayette Alliance & Bluegrass Conservancy. A crowd of 600+ watched as team South Africa 9 defeated team USA 6 in a hotly contested match. We thank everyone who participated in and supported this event. Please note (below) the line-up for the 2007 tournament and other matches hosted by Polo in the Park at the Kentucky Horse Park.
The 2008 20 goal match is scheduled for Satuday, July 12, stay tuned for details regarding this match.
